I woke up today in shock......then tears. I really can't believe it now. ..... I am the luckiest guy in the world.
As many of you know the last two week I ordered the Grillgrates & S & S for fathers day gifts that I really should not have bought for myself. My wonderful wife said it has to stop right now
Well last night I cooked swordfish & salmon along with burgers on the new grill grates. The burgers were over cooked but good & The sword fish & Salmon were perfect.
My wife then went up to watch a movie with my daughter & my son went to his room to play a computer game.
So Dad (that's me) went outside with the boys (goldens) to enjoy a fire pit, torches & a couple of adult drinks.
It was a great pre-fathers day with great gifts & my wonderful family. i was really blessed.
It has been a tough ten years dealing with multiple family members that were/are sick. So I enjoyed the great moment I was having!
At around 10:00 my son comes out to enjoy the fire pit with me & says dad lets play a family game of Uno. I said sure so I go into our sunroom & my wife & daughter are already there.
Ok it gets better much better. In fact amazing
My wife deals first & when I get my first hand of cards there is a sticky note stuck to my first card.
It says Happy Fathers Day & on the bottom it says over with an arrow.
It says!
I still can't believe it.

I can't say it ...I am so in shock.
My kids said dad why are you not so excited.....i said because dad is in total shock... I still am.
Anyone that knows me knows that next to God, Family & friends I have one passion that is always on my mind. No cooking is in the top ten so are the Cardinals & Genesis music but I have one thing I like so much it is the bacon of my hobbies.
Ok................... it said "lets buy a boat" Ok I said it
I have been looking for ten years to get back into boating but could never afford the $$$ or had the time to get back in. ......I was as shocked as one could be that I thought they were all joking for half an hour.
Now I have the fun of picking out a used Walkaround fishing boat in the 21 to 26 foot range. How we will pay for it I don't know but I guess we will. So my 20 year old boat grill will be coming out of the shed again.
I have such wonderful kids & a great wife.
& for Fathers day we are going to my wife's dads house for London Broil.
THE BEST NEWS is my first Golden.... Butterscotch went to the vet yesterday for his checkup & the Vet said he is doing great after being told that he had just few months to live from cancer the day after my Aunt died in February of this year.
