Welcome to the South! Where we live vicariously thru our collegiate sports programs! I have been to games at Clemson, and VT and a few other schools - and you can change the logo - and team colors - but the commitment is there...

Fun can be poked at any and all college football fanatics.  I have been married to one for 47 years.  We still talk and enjoy each others company.  Sometimes it is fun to share our joy with one's conference rivals.  All in good fun.

I am disappointed at the lack of sportsmanship - I will be blatantly frank. How much S!@#$% did I get force fed over Manziel? Don't remember that -huh? Again...I CAN find it.

Again - YOU were not singled out. And - you know that. The trash talking that all of our Alabama fans talk is famous. And you know that as well. In fact YOU love to revel in it. And - it is fun - right? Or, at least it is fun when you guys are razzing/trash talking - or be-rating...see what I did there ...equating the term with several synonyms? But Gawd Almighty! When someone gets an Alabama goat...there is HELL TO PAY!!!!

It is - or it SHOULD all be take-in fun and as "good sport". It is easy for all of us to lose perspective. I love the game. And - I love my school. But, I also know that others feel the same way -
Again, it is college football. As much as we love it - it is not going to feed the hungry, prevent wars - or stop politicians from being thieving liars and crooks.

May the good spirited teasing continue - and I hope we all have "a perfect season" - not in wins and losses but great fun and memories.
