What are Y'all cooking for the Labor Day weekend?
« Reply #-1 on: September 04, 2015, 12:05:38 PM »
Out to the camp ground this weekend for some R & R

Kimmie and I are planning grilled cheese sammies for lunch, burgers and beans for dinner Saturday night

Sunday will start with a breakfast fatty then grilled ham and cheese then for dinner  I'm going to try a Trisket with taters, corn and onion pops then Red Neck Banana Foster

As luck would have it, I pulled or ripped my bicep muscle in my right are so Kimmie will be doing most of the prep and cooking while I sit back and relax  ;) ;)

I'll have pictures when we get back

Y'all be safe for the Memorial Day weekend

Tommy, glad to see you are planning ahead for Memorial Day.

This Labor Day I'll be making some sausage, cook a butt, and continue with my trial and error efforts to develop the world's best BBQ sauce.
Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.

Smoking a brisket flat and stuffed jalapeƱos

Brisket sitting in a bourbon marinade for 24 hours
jalapenos will be stuffed with italian sausage, cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and finished at the end with a bbq glaze.

5 BIG Boston Butts for a wedding reception. I am donating it to a couple that can't really afford to have a caterer.... Not like I lack for things to do, but...I am a sucker for a sob story I suppose. :D :D :D
