Grilled Artisan Pizza Class
« Reply #-1 on: July 22, 2015, 06:25:09 PM »
So my steady squeeze found us something to do for our 13 anniversary yesterday. She liked it because I have no experience in making pizza on the grill, or else I would get an "attitude" and be "that guy" AKA Tee.

This was a 3.5 hour class that was really excellent and very hands on. Not a demo class.....but really cooking.

We made two kinds of dough for the experience, but used the proofed stuff they made the day before.

Great equipment to cook on. We cooked on a Memphis pellet grill, BGE, and a Weber gasser.

As you can see in the pics.....they have a lot of nice equipment.

My team of 6 made a total of 10 pizzas. 5 different varieties.

Burrata and heirloom tomato pizza with basil infused olive oil
Apple, blue cheese, and prosciutto pizza with honey water sauce
Shrimp and roasted corn with white garlic sauce
Korean pizza
Thai peanut pizza

Lot of fun, and learned some tips.

Which grill produced the best pizza?. Like the old hickory smoker.  Congrats on your anniversary.  I though you have been married longer than 13 years.

Looks like a lot of fun, Pappy - happy anniversary!

I think the burrata, heirloom tomato, basil olive oil sounds the best, but I be they were all good!
