Conversations I had with Tim and Art
« Reply #-1 on: November 29, 2014, 12:25:05 PM »
The other day I got a call from Tim who had a question.  Before I could tell him I couldn't remember the answer he remembered the answer himself.  Any of y'all who have ever had a conversation with Tim know that he has a tremendously wide depth of knowledge on many subjects and I have found that on nearly every issue he is always correct.  You also know that you never know into what area a conversation with Tim will wander.  This one strayed into the area of personality traits and Tim said, "Dee, you know if I had a little more humility, I'd be perfect."

After I hung up from Tim I decided since I was already on the phone I called Art and ask him some questions about the roll out bed he and Tim have on their pickups.  Those at the Gathering got a chance to see this beautiful new Ram that Art has.  It is the  top of the line and is amazing in what all it can do.  He has a  full bed roll out that  is a stroke of  genius as to how he and Tim customized---sort of makes one wonder how they came up with the concept. Anyway, this thing has carpet on it and has tailored brackets with double stick tape which allows it to be adjusted for whatever the cargo you are hauling may be.

I told Art that I had been reading a lot about the roll outs for my truck and wanted his opinion on which would be the best for my truck.  After giving me some ideas he said, "Dee, I was doing some reading on the evils of drinking and I decided to quit."

Flabbergasted, I said "Art, as much of a connoisseur on alcoholic beverages I assume you to be as a result of the posts I've read, you are going to quit drinking!?"

Art sort of grinned and said, "Oh heck no! I ain't gonna give up drinking.  I'm giving up reading!"

So, if y'all are ever in a conversation with either or both of these two, don't be surprised that it will go into directions and territories you would not have imagined when you started.

Dee
