New contraption (new to me that is)
« Reply #-1 on: May 23, 2014, 03:37:54 PM »
I just recieved this Blazin Smoker Box.  I thought it would be good on some higher temp cooks to get additional smoke and for cold-smoking cheese and salmon.  Looking forward to firing it up.  I chose this over the amazin tube smoker for the simple reason that I ordered it from Blazin at the same time I ordered the Grand Slam.  We shall see - anxious to give it a shot.

It holds 2.5 pounds of pellets and is supposed to smoke for 5 - 6 hours.  I guess you can crumple foil and insert in one end and use less pellets for a shorter smoke if desired.  No soaking in that thing - it says it is for pellets but I suppose you could use chips in it too?????  Had not considered that.
