I like Scrapple just fine.  You find it in some places around here, but it gets more popular the closer you get to Pennsylvania Dutch country and the Philly area.

Pappy, fry it up in a skillet over medium heat, flipping it ONCE, after allowing a crust to form.

Tim, Scrapple is very much like liver mush or liver pudding in NC.

Minus the cornmeal, it's very much like hot dogs, too ! ! !

Smokin Don posted a recipe a few years ago for an "easy" scrapple that didn't have liver, offal, and other things folks might think of as "icky." My attempt to recreate it didn't set up quite right but it was still pretty good stuff.

Love scrapple, pan seared or deep fried. Ketchup or syrup for some.  Me a runny egg on top with some bread or in a sandwich.  Its good stuff, key to pan fried is get a nice sear on the outside, nice and soft in the center.

Everyone eats scrapple here in Delaware. There are many different brands that use different recipes. Everyone has their favorite.

There is even a festival every year called "The Apple-Scrapple Festival". It is a big deal here!

Here's a DDD recipe that looks promising as well.
