We have a glass top stove and have to clean rice boil-overs...fairly easy. Wet the area a bit ; use a single edge razor blade (like a paint scraper) and scrape up the rice. After that we use Weimans Cooktop Cleaner to finish and polish. Keeps ours looking like new.
