Getting there... I have two (well many more) favorite cars that would be appropriate... a 1965 Mustang or a 1965 Jaguar XK-2... just letting you know Tee...

Owned and loved them both...

But, if that is too pricey, I did love my 1977 280Z.... not the ZX... Great stories very sad ending...

I had a 1972 Datsun 240Z (before they called them Nissan).  It was a screamer, it would get kind of squirrely at 120 but I put an aftermarket front spoiler on it and the faster you went the more it would hug the road. The speedometer said 160 and I pegged it several times. Whoever had it before me had tricked it out and it had two Weber carbs. Got married, bought a house and traded it for a Ford pickup.
