Infrared butt...Is that what they call it now after your wife chews on it for a while ? :D

Buddy texted me last night and said he wanted to take a ride to Destin to try a new BBQ place called "Bucks". Sure, sounds good.

As we pulled in the smell was outstanding.

Couple pics before we go in

He said these are the small ones. The big one is in the back and they are all filled.
Did I say it smelled great?

They're packed. Good sign.

Nice

I went with the brisket sandwich and beans

Some of the best brisket I've ever had. Tender and delish. Beans were out of the world. Filled with pulled pork and bacon.

Didn't want to waste the flavor with sauce and bread.

Gave one of my buddies a taste of the brisket, his Prime Rib was on it's way

He got the PR and Mac and Cheese. PR was fantastic, Mac was, well Mac and Cheese, nothing special.

We did not order the  ribs but I got a pic of the guy next to us. I will be ordering the ribs next time, maybe, that brisket and PR are so good.

Couple of more pics

Snuck a pic of the bigger smoker, owner said they were way to busy to give a tour, but next time when it's not a major holiday come on back and I will give a real tour.

All and all, if you are in the area make this a place to eat. Really. Oh, and I love the established date.

Love to cook and eat

Again, excellent pictures, RAD.

However, I was disappointed that the Best BBQ list did not include Backyard Jack's BBQ Emporium. I hear it is the star of the South!

Top 10 BBQ States?  No disrespect to the folks from New York, but seriously?  You folks who gauged this from Trip Adviser(which by the way is the funniest way to choose BBQ States I have ever seen) ever been to Kentucky?  No? Then come to Paducah KY 9/24-9/26.  I will personally show you some of the best BBQ you will ever eat.

<Deep Breath>  OK, rant over.  As you were.
