These pics remind me why I do not visit family in WI in the winter.
Cold here also, won't get to much more than in the middle 50's.
Next up is the man in Hawaii with their cold temps.  :)

Well it ain't exactly Hawaii but Las Vegas will record it's warmest Feb ever and yesterday a new record was set when the high topped out at 72F, making it the 18th day in this month where the high broke the 70F mark.

I feel your pain... NOT!  ;) ;D ;D ;D

No worries, we will feel the pain this summer when it's 115F, IN THE SHADE, and we go back to indoor cooking in the A/C.  We do some outdoor cooking in the summer, like when I climb in my truck, my rump gets roasted and my palms get seared on the steering searing wheel.  :P

lol  ;D ;D ;D

Too cold, too hot - somehow we all end up inside for awhile...  ;D

Yep, for us it's Jul/Aug, even Jun is nice around here when it's pleasant 100F, it's when the mercury climbs north of the 105F mark is where most forms of outdoor life seems to evaporate.

Gus, this is soup season (even in Alabama apparently)! Get your smoking duds on and man the soup kettle mister! Live to smoke another day. A guy's gotta eat so he may as well eat well, so we all have to be adaptable to the circumstances around us. I'd surely rather have a nice steak on the grill, drinking a cold one, while that hunk of beef sizzles, but, an indoor steak tastes pretty darn good too, sipping on good red vino, while listening to the smoke alarm wailing in the background! Tough times call for tough measures!

Made the soup about a month ago and I have a number of "bagged" soup in the fridge and some canned homemade chili in the pantry.
Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.

Gus, we got as much as y'all did  ???

Poor Mollee has to take a warm bath ever time she needs to go out.  She comes back with more snow on her fur then you can wipe off so we give her a warm bath to melt it off
