GB Jerky Rounds
« Reply #-1 on: July 09, 2014, 10:29:55 PM »
Made a batch of jerky rounds this weekend with 5 lb's 90/10 GB, Smoking Gun Jerky Marinade, Cure 1, and 3 Tbls of Rodak's chipotle mustard fusion sauce to give it a kick. After a night in the fridge to marinate it was time to stuff it in 2 1/2" casings that went into the freezer to make slicing easier. I cut them to 1/4" using my 9" commercial slicer and that sure made it quick and easy, first time I got to use it for this type of jerky. I have to give a big thanks to my friend Ragweed on another forum for this method of jerky making, I haven't used my jerky blaster since I started doing these.

and the finished product out of the dehydrator.

NEPAS did some jerky rounds in his dehydrator a while back.  I got to sample his.  They were great!  It sure is a good way to have truly uniform pieces in your dehydrator.

Yours look fantastic, too.

We got the idea from the same friend, and they are so easy to make and your right they are so uniform that they all came out at the same time with minimal rotating of the racks.
