Winter Poem
« Reply #-1 on: January 23, 2014, 10:32:48 AM »
For Pam and all my northern friends.

WINTER POEM

It's winter in Ohio
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Ohio
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Ohio
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!

You need to sneak out in the middle of the night like The Browns did.

Too funny Pam. driving into work today, I asked myself the following question; "why in the world did I choose to say in Ohio?"  Answer, this is where the majority of family live and that is important enough!

We'll take you, Pam...Always nice here in middle GA - except for tomorrow when we're expecting wind chill near zero.
I wish y'all would close the gate on that cold air and keep it to yourselves.

Remembered my favorite winter poem:

Spring has sprung,
fall has fell.
