Bologna looks great. Would you guys recommend this book for a real novice? I don't have a food processor or grinder or stuffer.

I got it for Christmas and am still reading it, but it is a good book for anyone who want's to do sausage, some of the stuff on food laws for commercial sausage making takes some reading but you can always skip it if you want to. Once you make your first fresh breakfast sausage or even a fresh stuffed sausage you will be hooked and looking for a grinder and a stuffer. If you have a Kitchen Aide mixer with a grinding attachment you can do some fresh loose sausage to get your feet wet.
