Well I used to complain about those type of parents... Now I am one of them

My Mom used to put a upper body harness with a leash on me when I was four. I would take off in the store and play four ever until she found me. She used to get dirty looks and rude comments but I was a hellion and just loved exploring on my own. It drove me crazy being tide to the grocery cart like a dog but I would have done the same thing looking back at my self. Ok you guys know too much now

My daughter was the same way. I thought it was cute. I am sure everybody else hated me.

my dad would send me to the store at 5.  we grew up quick in our neck of town and my dad was a single dad.  we all had our chores.
