You're safe as long as the melting ice doesn't "leak" into the fire pit from the tank and put your fire out.

Spray it down with bleach first.... Bleach kills everything :P

Reminds me of a recipe I have been working on  for Habanero ice cream....Fire and Ice...- before AND after!!!!
